So last wednesday (29th of August) Hiro had the pin removed from his leg. The wound was stapled shut and the vet thought it needed no bandages.
Well, I was freaking out about the metal staples (looking at them or accidentally touching them)...
Anyway, Hiro had to wear one of those collars, which we already had. At first, he got the "normal" collar, which isn't huge. it was fine for one day, then he learned to bend in a way to get to the staples.
So, a bigger collar he got XD. And he had to keep it on at least until today.
Today he had the staples removed, finally! But he has to keep the collar for two more days, so he doesn't tear off the scabs. Oh well.
The poor guy is itching so much, he asks me several times a day to give his neck a good rubbing.
And, in the end, i guess Hiro will stay. He really is a nice cat. Crazy, but nice :)
